About M.A.D.
M.A.D. is Madarae after dark, an intimate nightclub experience every Friday and Saturday.
DJs take over the room, backed by immersive LED walls and a high-end sound system, transforming the space from cocktail bar to dance floor.
The calendar features touring artists, emerging talent, and Bay Area favorites across house, electronic, and open-format nights.

Private Events at M.A.D.
M.A.D. is built for nights that need more than a standard event space.
Host a launch, birthday, brand activation, or private party with craft cocktails, bottle service, a DJ booth, and a room that can shift from intimate to full dance floor without feeling staged.
For smaller groups, the private mezzanine offers a more contained setting above the main room. For larger nights, M.A.D. is available for full buyouts with tailored food and beverage packages, custom AV, and LED branding capabilities.

Full Venue Buyout
A full buyout includes both our Mezzanine and our Main room, as well as access to our in-house AV system — two 75" screens, floor-to-ceiling LED panels (great branding opportunity), state-of-the-art audio equipment including a fully equipped DJ booth, and use of our microphones for presentations.
Minna Room
Our Minna Room includes a private bar, bathrooms, and fully dedicated staff.
The Mezzanine
This exclusive mezzanine floor has access to a private bar, private bathrooms, and fully dedicated staff.
Large Group Reservation
Don't need a private space but would like to book a large group reservation? We can accommodate groups of 10–45 during our regular operating hours in our Main room. Just email erica@madarae.com

Need a Unique Setup?
M.A.D. can be reconfigured for nights that need more than a standard party setup.
Ask us about furniture removal, rental coordination, custom layouts, and production adjustments for brand activations, launches, immersive experiences, and full-scale productions.
We have hosted events for Meta, Lime, and other leading teams. Tell us what the room needs to do, and we will help shape the setup around it.
